PS new ways with gradient effects(original tutorial)

Have you noticed that the normally seen gradient effects lack novelty? Actually, just a little bit skills can achieve unexpected effects.

The actual application in banner.

The effect before overlay.

Step 1, Create a blank text document of 800x800px.

Step 2, Choose the gradient color you like.

Step 3, Use filter -Pixelate -Mosaic.

Step 4, Then use filter-sharpen-sharpen, sharpen several times more if the gradient effect is not obvious.

Step 5, Duplicate this layer, use deformation tools to rotate one of the layer to a 45 degrees angle, likewise, duplicate another layer and counter-rotate it to a 45 degrees angle, and then set the attribute of the duplicated layers to “soft light”, and finally choose the overlapped area in the middle, as the picture shows.
